When you are short on time and just want something simple, fun & delicious. You always look to find the easiest meals to prepare. Never mind that frozen dinner. Never mind spending money on take out that is often not as tasty when you can prepare something that is great tasting and on your plate in less time than it will take food to be delivered to your door. Pork Chops are a common staple in most homes or at least in mine. With a little bit of imagination; Lemon Butter Herb Pork Chops could be a common staple in yours. With so many different ways you can prepare them, most times you just want something light & quick to make but still taste like you spent hours in the kitchen preparing it. Lemon brings bright acidic flavors to any dish. Herbs bring warm depth to any dish. Combine them both and create a flavor that wow’s the mind, nourishes the body & feeds the soul. If you are not a fan of Pork Chops, no problem! This Lemon Butter Herb recipe can absolutely be used on your favorite cut of Chicken, Fish or even if you are trying to spruce up some Vegetables.. go for it!
Lemon Butter Herb Pork Chops

Ingredients
Meat/Poultry
- 4 Center Cut Pork Chops
Seasonings & Spices
- 1 tbsp No Salt Garlic Herb Seasoning
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Rosemary dried or fresh
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Cumin
Dairy
- 3 tbsp Butter
Oil
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Fruit/Vegetables
- 1 Lemon
Instructions
Pork Chop Prep
- Season both sides of Pork Chops with Salt, Pepper, Garlic Herb Seasoning, Cumin, Onion Powder & Rosemary and set aside for 20 minutes or so to infuse flavors into the meat. The longer it sits, the better the flavor.
Cooking Directions
- Heat up Olive Oil and 2 tablespoons of Butter in a Skillet on medium/high until it begins to sizzle.
- Add Pork Chops and let it cook for 3 – 5 minutes on one side until golden and browned. Turn over and cook additional side 3-5 minutes until browned as well. Cooking time will vary depending on the cut and thickness of your Pork Chops.
- Internal temperature should reach 145°F.
- A couple minutes prior to removing Pork Chops from Skillet, squeeze 1/2 of Lemon into the pan along with remaining Butter to add some brightness and lemony flavor to your Pork Chops. Be sure to coat both sides with the mixture.
- Serve with your favorite side dish for a light but flavorful meal.
- Suggestion:
- Serve with a side of Roasted Vegetables, Sweet Potato or my favorite, fresh Green Beans tossed in Olive Oil, Garlic Herb seasoning & a pinch of Salt & Pepper!
