Not another Flatbread Pizza! Are you kidding me. Spicy Italian Style Flatbread is another way to enjoy your favorite Italian flavors right on top of a crispy Flatbread without the extra work of making pizza dough. By all means, if you want to take the initiative in preparing dough, I salute you. This is my take on simplicity but an amazing alternative to pizza.

Spicy Italian Style Flatbread brings all my favorite flavors of an Italian Hoagie right to my table in no time. I love adding additional heat and spice to any meal and infusing it right into the Olive Oil used in this recipe was no exception. There are many options to using Chili Pepper Blend seasonings and it really is a win/win when looking for a blend in spices all in one. Since I am one to love my seasoning cabinet loaded with a variety of choices, Smoke Chili Sea Salt gives a little of both worlds in spice and salt. It was perfect for my take on an Italian Style Flatbread.

Speck Ham is a smoked ham which almost mimics Prosciutto in taste. It is absolutely delicious. Pairing it with Artichokes, Banana Peppers and seared tomatoes brought it all together. Topped off with fresh Mozzarella and slivers of fresh Basil, this was a home run to a light but delicious meal.

Never underestimate the ability of a Flatbread. With so many options available to you to partake in when creating your favorite Flatbread Pizza, you cannot go wrong.

Meanwhile

  • Heat Pan on medium/high.
  • Drizzle Pan with Olive Oil.
  • Add Speck Ham and give it a quick sear for 2-3 minutes stirring consistently and remove.
  • Place sliced Tomatoes directly into the same Pan and season with Garlic Herb Seasoning. May sprinkle some Chile Pepper Blend seasoning for additional spice. Sear for 2-3 minutes on both sides or until softened but not mushy.

Flatbread
