Lemon Garlic Herb Pan Seared Chicken

Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 6 Boneless Chicken Thighs with Skin Cleaned and excess fat removed

Produce

  • 2 Whole Lemons Slice Thinly
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic

Seasonings

  • 1 tbsp Garlic Herb Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Oil

  • Olive Oil

Instructions
 

Prep Chicken

  • Place Chicken in Mixing Bowl.
  • Add Garlic Herb Seasoning, Onion Powder, Cumin, a couple generous pinches of Salt & Pepper and a drizzle of Olive Oil.
  • Using your hand, mix and massage ingredients into Chicken being sure the Chicken is coated well. Set aside and let marinate for 15-20 minutes. The longer you let it marinate, the better seasoned the Chicken will be. This can also be prepped the night before and placed in refrigerator overnight.

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat Skillet on medium/high adding a drizzle of Olive Oil.
  • Place Chicken Thighs skin side down and begin searing for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over and place 1-2 slices of Lemon on top of Chicken and continue searing Chicken for additional 5-7 minutes or until Chicken is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 175°F. The lemon juices will flow over Chicken giving it a light hint of lemony flavor. Cooking time will vary based on size of Chicken and thickness.
  • Serve Chicken Thighs garnished with Lemon along side your favorite sides and enjoy!
