- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 3 Slices of Bacon (Optional) Cooked & Chopped
Produce
- 1 Large Green Bell Pepper Diced
- 1 Medium Onion Diced
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
Seasonings/Condiments for Meatloaf
- 2 tbsp Garlic Herb Seasoning No salt
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- Ground Black Pepper
Bread
- 2 Slices of White Bread Tore into small pieces
Sweet Smokey Chipotle Sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Chipotle Sauce
Prepare Meatloaf
Preheat Oven to 375°F
In a small bowl, place Bread and Milk and stir being sure Bread is submerged in Milk. Let it sit until Milk is completely absorbed.
In Mixing Bowl, add Ground Beef, Peppers, Onions, Garlic, Bacon (Optional), Eggs, Bread soaked in Milk & all the Seasonings listed for the Meatloaf. Using your hands, mix all the ingredients together being sure to incorporate thoroughly. Spray Pan or Baking dish with non stick spray. Place Meatloaf Mixture into Loaf Pan or dish being sure to form into a loaf. Cover with foil. Place in preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until done. Internal temperature should read 160°F
Sweet Smokey Chipotle Sauce
In a bowl, whisk all ingredients for Chipotle Sauce. You may adjust Chipotle Sauce for a more spicier taste.
In the last 15 minutes of baking time, spread the Chipotle Sauce on top. Leave foil off and continue baking until Meatloaf is completely done. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
